Why book on this website instead of Airbnb or Vrbo?

It’s the same homes and the same hosts, without the booking-site guest service fee. You also deal with us directly from the first question to checkout, so changes, special requests and local tips don’t go through a middleman.

Are the reviews real?

Yes. Our Reviews page shows reviews from guests across all of our booking channels.

Prices, fees and payment

What will I pay?

Your quote shows every charge before you book:

• The nightly rate for your dates
• A cleaning fee for the home you choose
• Oregon and local lodging taxes
• A processing fee

If you’re bringing a dog, a pet fee is added to your quote. Travel insurance is optional.

When do I pay?

50% is due when you book, and the balance is charged automatically 30 days before arrival. If you book within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due at booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

• More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund
• More than 7 days before arrival: 50% refund
• Within 7 days of arrival: no refund

The policy is firm, including for travel delays, illness and weather, so we recommend travel insurance. Direct guests can add a RentalGuardian plan during booking or afterward, until 30 days before check-in.

Arrival and departure

What are check-in and checkout times?

Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM.

How do I get in?

All three Central Oregon homes have keyless entry. Your personal door code arrives by email or text about 24 hours before check-in, once your rental agreement is signed and your balance is paid.

Is there a rental agreement?

Yes, a short online agreement you can sign from your phone after booking. For monthly stays in Portland, residents sign an Oregon residential rental agreement before move-in.

The homes

How many people can stay?

The Beaver Cabin, The Marten Cabin and 7 Rogue each sleep up to 8. The John Ross studio sleeps 2. The primary renter must be at least 24 and stay at the home.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at all three Central Oregon homes with prior approval and a pet fee (up to 2 dogs). The yards aren’t fully fenced, so please plan to keep dogs leashed or supervised outside.

Which homes are on the river?

The Beaver Cabin and The Marten Cabin sit right on the Big Deschutes River, about 10 minutes south of Sunriver, with kayaks for guests. 7 Rogue is inside Sunriver on a quiet forested loop near the river trail; it isn’t riverfront, but it comes with 8 SHARC passes, bikes and two kayaks. Can we have a campfire?

The riverfront cabins have fire pits, but firewood isn’t provided, and seasonal burn bans are common in Central Oregon. Please check the local fire district’s burn status before every fire.
